Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter or any of the characters; I'm just playing around a bit.




Lily Evans, around 19-20 years old. I used reference for this picture actually. However, Geraldine Summers doesn't fit my image of Lily she's too bony for one thing so instead I chose a Swedish actor, Tuva Novotny, who is sweet as sugar.

Otherwise, I don't really know what to say about this drawing. It was fairly easy to draw, and I think she came out well. Hopefully, I'll stop drawing portraits soon and start on real drawings.

It's just funny I always seem to go mad about RS when others write about/draw them when I myself can't do that. Except drawing them on very rare occassions. I'm just scared I'll fuck up this pairing so badly. I actually HAVE ideas for fictions - but I don't know how to start writing! All I can seem to do is writing gen fictions and drawing portraits, and ARGH. *headdesk*

ANYWAY. Sorry for my rambling :-( A question though (once again, sry!) How far are you with your fiction? Do you still want to have me as your beta reader O:)?

Don't worry about rambling! I understand your problem; I'm exactly the same way when I enter a new fandom. I tell myself that this pairing is far too complex for me and that I'll never be able to meet the standards, but then I get favourites (like Healer!Sirius and smoking!Remus) and pet peeves (like Gryffinwhore!Sirius and amber eyes!Remus) and my controlling, bitchy nature gets going. The good thing with fanfiction is that if you don't like it, you can do it yourself. Hurrah for that.
I don't want to sound as if I had the answers to all questions in the universe, but maybe you could try and write a shorter, pre-slashy piece? I find that that usually helps me. Also, I want to read more fics by you.

Funny you'd ask! I actually finished it yesterday, and I'll send it over as soon as I get home. *g* And of course I still want you to be my beta reader, don't be silly! I was aiming to finish the fic this weekend, but then it was Hogsmeade Weekend over at HiH wich distracted me completely. But now I'm finished (hurrah!) so expect to see an e-mail from me soon. <3

Hee, just that I'm not really new to RS ;) I've been a fan for somewhat three years now, I guess... yeeees a pre-slashy thing sounds great :) I actually consider this now! But I don't know, I'll just wait and see.

I knew I'm the new kid on the block. *g* I just recognized the nervousness, but in my case it usually wears off pretty fast due to my megalomania control-issues.
