(Yeah, I know this is a day too early, but I'll be away tomorrow, and I figured, better early than late. ♥)

Alright, so I know I'm the worst wife in the history of LJ-wives, and I'm so incredibly sorry for my utter neglect of you, roterhimmel, and I won't blame you at all if you've been cheating on me – I almost wish you have, and that you did it with Gary Oldman, because that would perfect for your birthday, wouldn't it? ♥ So, I'm terribly sorry I went AWOL on you – but it's not personal, it's universal, because school is almost over but is shanghaiing me at the moment – but I hope I can make it up to you in time, and that this birthday present is alright, and please, have a very happy birthday. Let me say it again:

Do you see that? You know what it is? It's a background, that is! Now the subject's not just floating around uncertainly in white space, but it actually has a surrounding; it's a real picture. Not that I'm any good at backgrounds; that fact hasn't changed. Those blocky thingamajigs are supposed to be houses, and those ice-cream cornets on the arch are supposed to be trees on a hill. But it's the thought that counts, yeah?

I used heaps of references for this. (Of course, "this" being the motorbike and Sirius; I used no reference whatsoever for the so-called background. Could you imagine that?) Firstly, the pose I nicked from a photo I found somewhere when I trekked Google Image Search, so the angle and pose and body and all that are 100% ripped off. For the face and head, I used Tim Roth as reference (again; I'm so sorry!) and I tried to "Rothify" the torso the best I could. The bike… Oh, the bike. Cards on the table, I've never drawn a motorbike before. I barely know what's the front and what's the rear. But in any case, it's supposed to be a Triumph Bonneville, a "Bonnie", and maybe if you squint and tilt your head to the left, it looks like one? ♥

This is totally a fetish drawing; I won't make a secret of that fact. Mostly they're ones roterhimmel and I share; the nipple-piercing is entirely hers, however, and is specially manufactured for this occasion. The tattoo – the armband-design of a Celtic infinity knot – is my own idea, though, as is the earring. And yay, long hair and leather jacket! \o/

I enjoyed drawing this. It was tricky as hell, but fun; especially trying to get all those details of the motorbike right. And I think Sirius came out looking a little photo-shy, not looking directly into the camera and all that, and I must say that I like that. *g*

Now, you might ask where the implied Remus/Sirius is, since I said there would be. Well, who do you think took the picture and saved it? ♥

Do you know how lovely this is? I guess you do. I guess you planned all of this, and you knew I'd hyperventilate again and want to kiss you and take you to the Moon and promise you ten-thousand stupid, totally cheesy things and other stuff BUT I LOVE YOU ♥♥

It's so gorgeous. I love all of it, but, as weird as I am, I love Sirius' NIPPLE PIERCING (!!!!!!!) and his right hand the most; they're so pretty I want them for myself. Ha ha, yeah right, cut off Sirius' right hand and give them to me as birthday present, lol. Kinda sick, but, he, that's who I am, I guess. Either way it's really gorgeous, and once again I can't thank you enough. That kinda happens a lot, doesn't it? So here: THANK YOU SO MUCH, darling.

I'm sorry this review/comment thing is so lame, and maybe it doesn't feel really enthusiastic, but I am, I really am. I'm just very washed out and not good currently but that doesn't mean I don't love it, cause I do ♥ So again, thank you so much.

Decidedly late to comment, but bloody hell - that bike. :O

For some reason my eyes were drawn to Sirius' legs. They're just ... lovely, for the lack of a better word.
