I suppose this is somewhere between the perverse and the insane, but as a teacher there could be no greater joy for me than to be able to have some part in the formative years of a mind like that of Sherlock Holmes. Because he is a goddamn genius and I would love to be able to direct that kind of thirst for knowledge. Besides he would make an excellent emo teenager with the whole "no-one understands me" and writing terrible poetry about sex and death thing. And his mess would go a long way to concealing mine.
Sadly he would probably have turned out to be a master criminal in my care, but these things are not to be helped.
I can understand being uncomfortable with kids. They can be downright difficult sometimes. It is still an awesome picture.
