Oh, I can just imagine it. Holmes did help the police in his early twenties but then grew so bored with it he decided to try his luck in the criminal career. Which... he excelled in and is now the most wanted criminal in Britain. He doesn't have a gang because he doesn't play well with others, but he has icily civil meetings with Moriarty over possibly poison-laced tea. Oh, and he has his own personal army of juvenile pickpocketers. And for some reason or other, Watson gets dragged into this mess, and it starts out foe-yaytastic but at some point he starts working with Holmes? Come on, help me develop this idea, you're so good at this! ♥
