It's amazing how school just sucks energy out of you, and how it steals time so effortlessly. I'm starting to understand what people mean when they say that time is like sand in your hands.

- Even if I suffer from having no time at all, I'm happy to say that the first part of the werewolf essay is finished! \o/ Now I just have to write about Remus J Lupin, canon and fanon, and that will be easy as cake. This essay might actually be done someday! *g*

- For years, my family and I have wondered what 'spaghetti' is called in singular form. Yes, it's stupid, but it's been bugging me for ages. Originally it was my dad that asked my grandmother on my mum's side, who was a teacher, just to annoy her. They never worked out the answer, though, so it has been an unsolved mystery. Until now.

Spaghettus. That is what spaghetti must be called in singular form, if you follow the English grammar rules, right? *g*

- I had a fandom-meets-real-life-experience yesterday. Nothing fancy or anything, and not really amusing either, but it made me giggle. You see, I was at the super-market with my mum, and because I have the attention-span of a gnat and is generally oblivious to my surroundings, I stood right in the middle of the aisle and blocking everyone. My mum told me to move and let the gent behind me to pass, and I jumped out of the way. The gent and I exchanged the usual, two-second long "Thank you," and "Not at all, it was my fault," and he passed. I was a bit puzzled because I found him incredibly familiar, even though I knew I had never seen him before. Then, several seconds later, it hit me that he looked exactly like Hal Emmerich. By then the man had already vanished so I was saved from the embarrassment of gawking at him, which I would have done if I'd figured it out sooner.

The whole experience was... strange and surreal, to say at least.

- I have now watched both "The Prestige" (with Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale) and "The Illusionist" (with Edward Norton). The first film was actually quite nasty, though interesting. Too much horror for my taste, though. "The Illusionist" on the other hand, is one of my new favourite films. If you haven't already seen it, do it! (And when I have enough time, I'll write a proper review for it)

- The PC-game Spore has finally been released in Europe! \o/ Too bad it's already out of stock.

I am the Goddess of Getting Side-Tracked. That said, I wonder if anyone would mind beta an R/S fanfic for me? It's about 1,000 words long, rated PG and written in response for the September Challenge over at [livejournal.com profile] hh_sugarquill; the prompt was "whimsical". So, does anyone feel like they could help me out? I would be so very grateful if someone could.
