The idea of Sirius as an artist is a bit crackish, but I think it could be conceivable. After all, he comes from a high-class, respectable family, and drawing is somewhat of a snobbish hobby (if you indeed keep it as a hobby and not as work, because then it's suddenly sneered at). Also, Sirius does have some of the "classic" artist-persona traits, such as passion, impulsiveness and general madness. ... God, here I go and try to make crack logical, again.
