My only Metal Gear Solid-icon. The animation comes from Zero Punctation's review, where he complains that the characters keep learning things that the audience figured out by the first trailer. And I kid you not, several dialogues in the game consists of tossing the words "Metal Gear" back and forth with either a question mark, exclamation mark or a full stop. Oh, how I love this game-series. <3

I don't know how many of you will be surprised if I say that I adore David Thewlis as Remus Lupin, but I don't think many will be. I stumbled across this icon as I was searching for HP ones, and I fell head over heels for it. I mean, c'mon; David, a smile, a cigarette and the classic bad pun? I couldn't resist. *g*

Another icon I found by accident. I have no idea whatsoever of where the quote comes from, but I love it. I relate to it, seeing how many (often stupid) things I do on impulse.

This is one of the icons I've been using for the longest time. House and Wilson, bantering and walking down a corridor. Really old-school, in other words. It's very pretty, and I suppose that's why I still haven't gotten bored with it. Because, you know, I like shiny things.

Currently my default icon. I love the layout, with the generous amount of white space. It gives the icon a light feel, I think, and only amplifies the feeling of summer easiness. It's pretty, and it makes me happy. What more can you ask for? *g*

This icon I don't get to use nearly enough. I stumbled across it when I was browsing through accio_rs_fics and snatched it, because I loved it and am shameless. Apart from the expression and the text fitting perfectly, it was actually the exact words I uttered when I saw this sequence for the first time. It's almost like fate, and who am I to resist fate? *g*

No, I'm not a Harry/Remus shipper. I do, however, love their dynamic. Even though Voldemort came back to life and fucked HP over, those two had so much potential to be more than just student and teacher (in a platonic sense, people!). I still haven't abandoned my love for the Black-Potter-Lupin storyline, and never will, I think. Remus is exactly the kind of person Harry needs in his life; kind, supportive, understanding and yet youthful and sneaky (especially if Harry would have lived with Sirius -- no offense, Padfoot, but I'm not sure you'd be fit for the whole single-parent routine, especially not after Azkaban). Argh, now I went and rambled about something else entirely! Alright, why I love this icon; it's pretty. It has smiling people and warm, comfy colours, while being nicely cropped. What's not to like?

I discovered that I didn't have a hug-icon (a wrestling-topless-on-the-floor icon I had, but they're not the same thing) and I promptly went out to search for one. The choice wasn't entirely based on this being the obvious hug-scene to use, but also on the fact that this is my favourite part in the whole book and film; the only thing that trumps it, in my opinion, is Sirius' roar of rage as Snape binds Remus and when he later unties Remus. I don't know why I love those last two sentences so much, but I do. And now I went off-topic again. Oh well. The icon is pretty and it has a hug. End of story.

... Now that I think of it, I'm awfully shallow, aren't I?
