dito i chose the same thing *g* when it's about people i like/love, i don't know any stop. i get overly protective (even about things i rationally know they can handle themselves) and become very furious... to the point of being irrational sometimes :/

I'm such a looser, but I have to ask you what exactly a 'cootie-period' is. Yes I'm dumb, yes I didn't find any explanations in my dictionaries, neither on the web. Grrrr. I only know that a 'cootie' is a bee? Or am I totally lost there?

Ack! Now that is the candy floss-variety. There is only under one circumstance that I can handle and maybe even like silly endearments and over-the-top declarations of love, and that is when it's sarcasm, like in All Kidding Aside (http://www.fictionalley.org/authors/kihin_ranno/AKA.html).

You're not a loser! It's my own fault; it's American slang, so that's probably why you haven't heard it before (and shame on me, mixing BE with AE!). And because I'm tired today I'll rip off a definition off Urban Dictionary (http://www.urbandictionary.com/) (which is a truly marvellous site):
US slang that references childhood:

Even if you haven't heard the name before, you recognise what it is, right? In Sweden they are called 'girl-germs' or 'boy-germs', though the former is more common. A 'cootie-period' is the age (often between 8 to 10) when boys harbour a strong dislike towards girls. This dislike most often wears off when they enter puberty.

Because I can't figure out how I should work a relationship of RS in there when Sirius is all ... teenage-y (?) towards the girls, so he practically doesn't fancy anyone yet, does he? Or am I totally confusing things? And... if Sirius is only ten he hasn't met Remus yet :-? Or could i just - write a fic in which Sirius and the other kids at Hogwarts start being all mad on their hormones, and Sirius not caring one bit? That he only cares about his friends and doesn't like girls at all? Or,... *brain dead*

XD; I gave you such a long and ranty reply that you forgot what I i asking for in the first place, right? *sheepish* What I asked for was a fic where clearly teenaged Sirius -- like, fifth year or so -- still has his cootie-period, i.e. never got out of it. Like you said, all the other children are getting hormone-ridden and Sirius is cold as a fish. And pre-slash would be brilliant! ♥ For gods' sake, it can be gen too, if you like! As long as I get possibly-fluffish humour and teenaged boys I'm happy. *g*

Oh, and you do "possess something up there," don't worry. *g* You should see me when my my meds dosage is too low; I get so scatter-brainy you wouldn't believe it. Makes a puppy seem calm and collected, really. ♥

Five minutes later you're all fucked up and pissed off and grumbly because you still didn't find it and by chance you notice then that you've actually held it IN YOUR FUCKING HAND ALL ALONG. Guh. YES, THAT IS AWFUL WHEN THAT HAPPENS, RIGHT? Argh. Well, now sit down and listen to me and I'll give you a pep-talk:
You're brilliant. Not only what you write is brilliant (and fantastic, and genius, and awesome, and so forth, you get it, right? *g*) but you are great human being too. You have an amazing voice for the HP characters, especially Sirius' IMHO, and I have never seen anything from you that's out of character. As for clichés, as long as you avoid Gryffinwhore!, stupid/dull/illiterate/stereotypical-ADHD-that-is-nothing-like-the-real-thing!Sirius as well as him seriously having great self-confidence, shy/timid/weak!and Goody Two-Shoes!Remus and no-personality!Peter, you have nothing to worry about. So no need to fret. :)

XD Gods, that's a classic! I usually just forget where I lay everything, and find them again when I have no interest in them any longer. Though my dad and mum sometimes goes around and search for their cells, while talking in them. I just... forget everything. XD;
